His program predated Leciel Hubbard's Ministry Outreach Broadcast, so shared Gary Richardson of WJLD. Scott's obituary segment on Al.com read as follows, "SCOTT, REV. HOWARD age 87, of Birmingham departed this life on April 30, 2003. He broadcast on the radio for 44 years, 6 months as the Little Rev. Howard Scott. He retired from Conner Steel after 35 years of service. Having pastured different Zion Churches for many years. A member of Old Ship AME...""
