Box 3 Folder 53: "Wonderful picture of Paul White and Bobby Hayden at the 1959 A&M Homecoming Game. Paul is announcing the game. We do not know if WEUP AM is broadcasting the game but we think so. Paul was the News and Sports Manager for the station."
This print was donated by Bobby Hayden, Huntsville archivist and colleague of Paul White, seen here on Paul White's left. He, along with Paul, broadcast Alabama A&M at-home games live on WEUP 1600 AM in Huntsville, Alabama, where Paul worked as news and sports announcer, also doing shifts as a gospel announcer. This particular picture was taken at the A&M "Home Coming" game in 1959.
