Box 3 Folder 50: "We are at folder 50. Pictures of WJ Allen at the WENN mike. We are now saying he’s at WENN. And back of the picture it says “WJ Allen, watch yourself! I said it first.” I guess that’s his expression. 8 AM, he was on 8 AM for fifteen minutes and he did the introduction for Erskine Faush's broadcast on WENN. This is 1959. Approximating that. I cannot remember who donated this. There is a funeral announcement for Allen in a Birmingham World from 1965. Don’t have it though."
